I have just been given this by my grandfather.
Someone throw away this amplifier on the nature strip. I was walking my dog and stumble upon this. Quick inspection, it was worth taking home to see what I can do. It was damn heavy. I've gave it a quick clean with a pressure blower. A few silver fishes ran out of the unit as it was outside for a while. There was a bit of rain that day. I thought I will leave it to dry for an hour or so before power it on. It power on well. Hooked it up to my speakers and the right main channel had no sound. I was lucky to find a service manual for this. I am just know the basic with volt meter. The only thing that I could understand and do from the service manual was to check the idle voltage of the main channels. The right one was way off. I have hope. I've adjusted the dial to bring the voltage to spec. Hooked it up again and I was surprise that both main channels now work. During the process, I 've got a little bit of an electric shock as my skin touches the board momentarily.
