We answered a lot of question in the live chat – if you don't see it, you can open the chat in the top right ("SHOW CHAT REPLAY" on desktop).

  2. OSC Audio says:

Great desk, but you need to release the scene editor, there's a scene converter from x/m 32 to Wing on the internet but it'd great to have the official software and be able to build your session from scratch before the show.

Customer Service Nightmare!!! Don't buy this mixer unless you have a solid backup plan if it breaks.

We bought our WING in October 2020 and initially loved it. Unfortunately we had some issues with the GUI flickering. This is apparently a common defect. I submitted a warranty claim and sent it out for repair. Behringer uses a company called Panurgy in New Jersey to repair. Their website says most repairs take 7-10 days. This was a big deal for us because we had to switch back to our old mixer which meant switching back to all our analog snakes, but what choice did we have.

After 3 weeks of no contact or update from Panurgy, I called and was told they were waiting on a part and said it would probably be 1-3 more weeks. After 3 weeks I called again. Still no progress. I called a 3rd time with the same result.

Finally 2.5 months after we sent it in, I got a notification that they were shipping it back…to the wrong address. When it finally arrived a week later, I had already plugged all the channels back into thee digital snakes so that it would pretty much be plug and play. This took several hours. I plugged in the board and the only part of the console that worked was the screen. Unbelievable.

I contacted Behringer and Panurgy again and asked for them to provide a loaner board or just to replace the WING. They didn't even respond to my email for a week when I sent a second reply. The agent said he had left a voicemail. I had put my cell phone on the repair and there was no voicemail. He told me that they couldn't replace the board or give e me a loaner and then sent me a new label and we once again mailed it back to New Jersey. A week later, I got an email that my mixer had been shipped.

I have been plugging in the tracking number for the last 5 days but it says invalid. As of right now, I have no idea where my mixer is or if has been repaired. As great of an option as this board is, I deeply regret going with the Behringer WING.

Can the p16 distribution box be connected to one of the AES ports instead of the ultranet port on the digital snake? I would also like to see more videos on how to connect external gear to it as inserts . Another thing I have not seen anybody talk about it how to set the matrix as crossovers the stock equalizers on the matrix do not have the filers that the X32 have no buterworth filters no linkwitz Riley filers. Why haven anybody paid attention to those details? I would like to upgrade but those details are holding us back.

  5. EBIII says:

Hello. The Wing and Ableton seem to work ok together. What I can not figure out is how to get WIng to do what most audio/midi interfaces will do, which is sync / start / stop Ableton with my external sequencer(Squarp). ether slave or master, do the midi ports have any purpose/support yet?

  6. Ldorgo Deardorff says:

That input section for a 21st century mixing board is so sad. It can do
nothing without spending more money on it. I guess that is the design.

  7. Ldorgo Deardorff says:

This is some bullshit advertising. You have 16 live channels , unless you make an additional purchase. 3k for a 16 channel mixer is what you are getting here folks.

  8. kosmikmusa says:

I am looking this to be used in theather.
How many snapshots I can save and recall?
Can I recall snapshots using midi note commands from example Qlab?
Or can I fire sound cues from Wing using midi notes?
Can I assing soft buttons to recall save snapshots? Does the recall work in away so when I used it to recall next snapshot so I could run the show linearly and not staring the menus and select manually next snapshot?
Can I use sanpshots recall for just channel mutes and not efecting any other parameters faders etc?

    Many thanks in advance

Behringer want to take over the world in terms of affordable audio devices / synths / outboard/ anything for the musician … and i for one am on board the great ship Behringer ! can`t knock them for their offerings vs price point .. they put the other manufactures to shame !! .. if you can get past the ( absurdly negative) Behringer moniker .. you`ll be in for a treat !! .. trust me ..this stuff is a game changer .. for you ..for me ..for everyone !!

  10. Mixing Lane says:

I was looking for a new user interface as apparently my head wasn't wired sufficient anymore to cope with routing assigning etc. on x32 anymore. When I saw this video I thought; wow, this is it. Really like the thought behind the interface and the interface itself. Also my stagebox will not be useless after the switch. I want to be ready for take off when all Covid restrictions are lifted and think this will help me do it.

    > I am thinking of buying the Behringer Wing mixer!
    > But I have some questions:
    > Kindly I would be pleased if you would give me some info regarding my doubts
    > 1) Does the purchase already include a sound card, in the sense that I can connect my keyboard or microphone and record?
    > I currently use the Icon Umix 1008 Satellite a Mini Amp 800 buying Wing could I do without both?
    > 2) Are converters good?
    > 3) Latency times in live or pc recording using Cubase 11?
    > 4) Do the microphone inputs have hiss, latency?
    > 5) The headphone outputs have a good output volume, they are clean I should connect two 250 Ohm Beyerdynamics 990 Pro and one 600 Ohm Akg 141 Monitor
    > 6) I would like to use it together with Cubase 11 to possibly exploit its internal power so as not to stress the CPU of my computer, is it feasible or do you need to buy other expansions?
    > For example I load a session of 70 tracks or midi or audio and take them out of Wing to process them with its DSP
    > 6) To use Wing Live I can use the classic SD cards or special types are required, ditto for the USB key
    7) Given the few inputs and outputs, and only two headphone inputs by connecting the P16-M Powerplay or the S6 Digital Snake would I solve?
My studio need is at least 4 headphones and two more inputs and outputs added to those already present in the Wing!
    Thank you !

  12. Kronk says:

Did you guys put native graphic EQs on the outputs? That seemed like quite a large oversight with the x32. Having to waste an effect bay just to get a graph on a monitor mix. Even the x-air has native graphs on the outs.

  13. Blue Skys says:

Looks like a really nice mixer, but all I ever wanted was a mixer with every channel (12-24 preferred) stereo with the option to be mono. Plus the ability to record each of those channels simultaneously with or without a DAW. Add 4 aux's and Daw integration and my kids won't eat for 6 months. Tascam Model 24 has come close, but yet no cigar. Still there is a lack of stereo inputs. This is Behringer's next mixer project. This will make all the multi synths lovers happy. You will have there wallets in a stronghold! Release 8,12,16, and 24 channel versions. I'll be waiting!
